Sirens in the Park, singing songs
wading through a sea of grass
singing songs of children past
wading through a sea of bones
the siren's song haunts us all.
Us who tread on stolen land
hearing songs of children past.
Sirens screaming songs
with stolen voices, forced to labor.
Hoarse and labored sing the voices:
Battle On. The siren forces
out her battle song.
She forces her opponent's
body open. With siren song
their minds are stolen.
Malleable yet fully broken.
Sirens shaping songs
from melodic sticks and rabbit bones.
We never walk alone,
Wrapped up warm in siren song.
